Spin Art Umbrella
As I prepare to head off to England for the holidays, I am reminded of rain. I have these amazing purple wedge Fendi wellies and this umbrella would be the perfect accessory. Very nostalgic of my younger years, playing with spin art was such a treat back in the day. Produced on the occasion of the Damien Hirst exhibition at Tate Modern in 2012. We all love his iconic spin artwork. These umbrellas would make great last minute stocking stuffers and can be found via Other Criteria.
Color In The Desert
Andrew Khosravani, London based illustrated is responsible for this amazing piece. I do not know much about Khosravani, but have lots of respect for him. His work often includes an insane amount of detailing. The blanket wrapped around the tree is great and I just noticed the little blue hookah off to the right. TGIF.
Pebbles
A graduate from RISD (Rhode Island School of Design), Garima Dhawan draws inspiration from quotes that she loves. From there, Dhawan turns her ideas into various prints using different mediums. Below are pieces from her Pebbles series via Society6. I love the texture from the silk screen that you see in some of the pebbles. There is an overall calming feeling I get when looking at these prints. Check our Garima Dhawan's work on Society6 and her shop on Etsy.
Sitting Pretty
These hand carved leather saddles are truly works of art. Leather artist Kara Ginther hand carves intricate patterns into each bicycle saddle. Kara's passion for leather started while studying textiles at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. You purchase these saddles through Bespoke Global, which is an amazing site. You must have a look!
