Pillow Crush

Next month I will be moving in with Andy and decorating is all I can think about. When I was younger my room would change about every other month. There is something very therapeutic about redecorating a space, it's similar to the feeling of a fresh start. I am so excited for this adventure and another side project. Over the next several months you can find me roaming furniture stores and flea markets around Southern California. The pillows above work great  in both outdoor and indoor spaces. Check out my selects and more at CB2. TGIF!

Anodized Aluminum

Pixel Anodized is composed by 1664 triangles made from anodized aluminum. The inside of this art deco style cabinet uses a material and technique-aged mirror and "capitone". This limited edition piece can be found on Boca Do Lobo. Inspired and handcrafted by a team in Portugal, Boca Do Lobo offers not only visually stunning products, but works of art that truly evoke emotion.

Unconventional and Lavish

The Rug Company has launched a new collection of rugs, wall-hangings and cushions based on recent Alexander McQueen runway looks. Sarah Burton's (McQueen creative director) spring 2011 "folklore" collection is the foundation of the seven-piece assortment. The Rug Company and Alexander McQueen's previous collaboration won the award for 'Fashion's Contribution to Design' at the 2010 Elle Decoration British Design Awards. Below are my favorites. God bless Alexander McQueen and the brilliant designs he shared with the world. Burton continues the success and growth of this fashion power house.

Scribe

Clockwise from top left: Aquaria, Ricochet, Hannsen, Rivulet, Plumeria, and Dart.

ANN SACKS, a premier manufacturer and distributor of tile and stone introduced Scribe.  The collection incorporates a delicate visual component by etching or scribing the surface of tiles. Offered in 20 patterns and 53 marbles or can be custom designed. The patterns can be displayed vertically or horizontally. Which one would you choose?

Artistic Ease

Wythe dinnerware $45-$150 and Zen flatware $295 (five-piece setting)

Ralph Lauren Home's new collection, the Left Bank offers rich, bohemian-inspired  furnishings that feel as though they were just snagged at a flea-market on the Left Bank in Paris. The eclectic mix of textures and styles help give this line the one-of-a-kind appeal that we all seek when designing our own spaces. Loving the Wythe dinnerware set (above).
